The heavyweight band (45lbs / 20.5kg) is designed for women who are already very fit and exercise regularly. If you can comfortably complete full sets with the mediumweight band, you’re ready for this one. If you’re just starting out, we recommend beginning with the Lightweight or Mediumweight band and working your way up.

Absolutely. The woven latex core is reinforced specifically for heavy resistance, and the cotton fabric construction distributes force evenly across the entire band. Unlike rubber bands which can snap under heavy tension, the fabric-latex weave is designed to handle 20.5kg of resistance consistently over hundreds of workouts without degrading.

Place the band just above your knees (not on the kneecap). During barbell squats, actively push your knees outward against the band throughout the movement. For hip thrusts, the band adds resistance to hip abduction at the top of the lift. For deadlifts, place it above the knees to maintain proper tracking.
